Job Applications

In order to get your first job role, you will need to research the qualifications needed. Many jobs in this industry will not require any university degrees. However, there are many higher roles that will require a bachelors degree and much alike. Experience is important in any job as it shows you have practiced your skills. Mention any past experience you can to get that extra edge. You will need to mention your technical skills and what you are good at. Relate your technical skills to the job role to show you have knowledge on the role, and talk about other general skills afterwards to interest your employer.

Dear Human Resources at Dreamingfish,

I wish to apply for the video producer and editor role as I feel that my enthusiastic personality and "mad skills" using Premire Pro and After Effects will fit in to your company perfectly and is what you are looking for.

Regarding prior experience, I have many self-taught years using Premiere Pro where I learnt the basics of the program. I am currently studying at Chichester College where I plan to gather more experiance and skills using the program. I am very interested in learning new effects, transitions and methods using Premiere Pro and will continue to in my educational time and personal.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Matthew Ede
